THE PROBLEM
Users can make Reservations that leave empty time slots between the last Reservation and theirs.EXAMPLE:
You have 30 minute time slots and a minimum reservation of 2 hours (students reserving lab time, etc.)
With an existing Reservation of 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM, another User can reserve 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, leaving (or 'abandoning') the 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM slot.
This can lead to abuse of Resources (or worse, lost revenues!).
THE SOLUTION
The Unused Timeslot Monitor PreReservation plugin (also known as a "Booking Buffer") forces a (configurable) minimum time between bookings so Users have to book 'back-to-back' or your pre-configured time between - i.e., Users cannot create an empty booking time that others can't ever use (in our example, the second Reservation must be 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM {'back-to-back'} or start at 11:30 AM .{leave at least 2 hours for another reservation}.)
Users trying to book 'small' times get a (configurable) message such as "You can only book at X(end of last booking) or Y(after the minimum time)".
Also configurable is a message like "Remember the 'Booking Rule' - you have to leave time for others".
